Our Annual FFLK Picnic took place again at Veterans Park in Jeffersontown.  The weather cooperated and was very pleasant for this year's picnic.  It was well attended by 31 members and 3 guests.  Martha Swartz's grandson kept Don Henson well entertained with his many jokes.

As always, we had a variety of good food to accompany our Kentucky Fried Chicken main course.  Co-Presidents John & Jeannie Vezeau kept the business meeting short so we could enjoy each other's company.

A pleasant surprise to all was seeing Darlene Eubanks walking unattended up to the shelter after her back surgery earlier this summer.  Darlene used this opportunity to thank her many well wishers for their calls, cards, care and concern.  She looked great!
