We have a serious need for volunteer(s) to be Exchange Director(s) for the inbound exchange with the Sao Jose do Rio Preto (Brazil) club in September 2010.  So far, after four requests, no one has stepped forward to offer this service.

FFI in Atlanta is asking for the names of the 2010 exchange directors.  What do we tell them?  We really don’t want to refuse this international exchange simply because we can’t get an exchange director.  And remember, our chapter’s policy requires us to determine international exchange directors before accepting any domestic exchanges.

If you have never been an exchange director before, why not ask another member to be a co-exchange director with you?   Having a partner to share in the planning and execution of an exchange could be fun.  Previous exchange directors have left copious notes to help guide your exchange.  There are always many volunteers to help with events.

Plus: you would be making a valuable contribution to our whole group – not to mention to our in-coming friends from Brazil – and be a real hero!
