The Annual FFLK Picnic will take place at Veterans Park in Jeffersontown, 6:30 PM, Thursday, July 09, 2009.

This yearly event always draws a huge crowd of FFers eager to swelter in the heat ... or soak in a late afternoon's summer shower ... or stir up the dust always swirling around our bodies ... and consume large quantities of high quality food and drink.

Midst all this food and merriment, the Board has decided there will be a short meeting.  Come out, be informed and enjoy the fellowship.

This year the club is furnishing chicken, plates, napkins and utensils.  Members are to supply side dishes, salads and desserts to share.  Members are also responsible for their own beverages and chairs.

Getting there is easy.  Take Taylorsville Road East through Jeffersontown and past the light at the junction with Ruckriegel Parkway (Map).  Continue on for about three tenths (3/10) of a mile.  The park is on the left. Enter at the main stone gate. There is plenty of parking and restrooms.  Like last year we are unable to reserve a spot so when you arrive do a quick drive through to determine our location within the park boundary.
