Since the announcement in October of a Domestic Exchange with The Friendship Force of Dayton, Ohio, I have contacted most of the membership regarding participation.  To date we have sufficient homes to host a total of 15 Ambassadors in any combination of singles or couples.  There are a few more members who may be able to host, but they could not commit at this time.  As the date draws closer we may be able to add additional Ambassadors.  We also had many offers to dinner host and have several day hosts available to help out as needed.  Two members came forward to offer their homes for a party.

Although the exact dates are still to be worked out, it will be sometime in May 2009 after Derby (Derby Day is May 2nd).  This will be a four night home stay with Ambassadors departing the morning of the fifth day.

Our efforts will continue to offer our guests an excellent home stay experience while showing off the many attributes of the Louisville/Southern Indiana area during their visit.

If you have not done so, you can still volunteer.  We primarily need home hosts, but can use additional day hosts as well.

The Dayton FF Chapter will notify us when an ED has been chosen.
